We confirmed the hardness, shape, and appearance of the sample feeding roller through visual inspection, a durometer, and calipers, and then proceeded with the urethane rubber processing. The hardness of the urethane rubber was determined to be 80 degrees, which is suitable for feeding, and we made adjustments to minimize internal heat generation during roller friction.
